This was a great book. I'm kind of nervous about the next one because of how this one ended, but overall, it was good. I didn't really expect Madoc to kill Dain; I thought it would have been Balekin who killed him. I loved how Jude tricked Carden into taking the crown while Oak was preparing for it because if she did crown Oak then Madoc would have been up on the throne while they were getting Oak ready for the crown. That confused me for a few chapters until Oak crowned Carden the High King. I honestly don't mind him being the High King. I'm just worried about what he will do to Jude after that year and a day is up.

Fearless by Lauren Roberts My rating: 5 of 5 stars I was crying so hard when "Kai" died. I then I read the next chapter, and I was like I just cried for nothing. I was sad that Mak died instead but he was reunited with Adena, so it was worth it. Honestly Lauren killed off so many characters in this book it was insane. The plot twist with Kitt shocked me so when he died, I didn't really care all that much. His epilogue though was kind of cute. I'm so glad though that Kai and Paedyn got married and had a kid, didn't care about how they named her after Kitt. I had a theory from when Edric had a couple of his chapters, and I was shocked that my theory was right. It was crazy though how Calum became a big part of the book especially with Pae and Kitt. A Liar's Twisted Tongue by Caroline Cusanelli My rating: 1 of 5 stars I couldn't even make it two chapters into this book without knowing it was exactly like Powerless. No hate to the author but she shouldn't have made it almost identical to Powerless. After getting half way through chapter 2, I just couldn't read it anymore so I closed the book and put it back on the shelf. I haven't touched the book since. View all my reviews

Review: Powerful

Powerful by Lauren Roberts My rating: 5 of 5 stars Out of Powerless, Reckless, and Powerful. This book is probably one of the saddest books out of them. I love how we got to see the perspective of Adena when Paedyn was sent to play in the Trials. It showed how much Adena missed Paedyn.
