Review: The Queen of Nothing

The Queen of Nothing The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was probably the best book in the series. I loved how Carden used his play on words when he exiled Jude, hoping she would understand and come back. I also loved how Carden wanted her back so much that he wrote letters to her. I didn't like that Lady Asha intercepted the letters so Jude wouldn't get them. I loved how throughout the book we realized how much Carden really cares about Jude and is not just using her. I was really upset though when Jude cut off the serpent's head because I thought if she did that, then Carden would die and we would never see Jude and Carden have their happy endings. I'm glad that author didn't put us through that. This was a really good series even if there was a lot of spilling blood involved.
