Review: Powerless

I haven't read this book in a year. I decided to read it before Fearless came out. I forgotten a lot of details and I'm glad I'm reading it again. I missed my babies Kai and Paedyn so much. I forgotten how much they flirt in this book, and I just can't wait to reread Reckless and then read Fearless once I get it. In my head I knew Adena was going to die but I just wanted a different outcome. Adena's death hurt so much and reading Powerful made it ten times harder to let her go. I'm real nervous how Fearless is going to go. I understand why Kitt is hurt but I guess he can blame Pae, but she just thought it was going to be a simple protest not a bloodbath. Overall, this was a really good book and I'm sad that the series is going to come to an end.

Fearless by Lauren Roberts My rating: 5 of 5 stars I was crying so hard when "Kai" died. I then I read the next chapter, and I was like I just cried for nothing. I was sad that Mak died instead but he was reunited with Adena, so it was worth it. Honestly Lauren killed off so many characters in this book it was insane. The plot twist with Kitt shocked me so when he died, I didn't really care all that much. His epilogue though was kind of cute. I'm so glad though that Kai and Paedyn got married and had a kid, didn't care about how they named her after Kitt. I had a theory from when Edric had a couple of his chapters, and I was shocked that my theory was right. It was crazy though how Calum became a big part of the book especially with Pae and Kitt. Overall, this was probably one of the saddest and best books in this series can't wait to read the novellas in the future. View all my reviews

A Liar's Twisted Tongue by Caroline Cusanelli My rating: 1 of 5 stars I couldn't even make it two chapters into this book without knowing it was exactly like Powerless. No hate to the author but she shouldn't have made it almost identical to Powerless. After getting half way through chapter 2, I just couldn't read it anymore so I closed the book and put it back on the shelf. I haven't touched the book since. View all my reviews

Review: Powerful

Powerful by Lauren Roberts My rating: 5 of 5 stars Out of Powerless, Reckless, and Powerful. This book is probably one of the saddest books out of them. I love how we got to see the perspective of Adena when Paedyn was sent to play in the Trials. It showed how much Adena missed Paedyn.
